Greek Sailing Adventure: The Movement Escape

A boat full of acroyogis.
Seven days of movement, play, and connection.
Sailing across five Greek islands.

3 – 10 October 2026

Discover the Sporades Islands!

Imagine sailing through turquoise waters, the warm Mediterranean breeze on your skin, the scent of pine trees and salty sea air, and golden sunsets glowing over whitewashed island villages. Welcome to a week of dolce vita à la grecque — an intimate adventure escape designed to awaken your senses, reconnect you with your body, and immerse you in the timeless rhythm of Greek summer.

Step aboard our sailboat for seven magical days of island-hopping through the pristine Sporades. Each day brings a new chapter of exploration: yoga at sunrise on secluded beaches, playful Acroyoga and handstand workshops, snorkeling in crystal-clear coves, sunset paddle boarding, and quiet meditations on deck beneath a sky full of stars.

This retreat grew from a shared vision: Aline and John both value movement, community, and the power of nature to bring people back to themselves.

Your Team on Board

John Karvelis

John Karvelis was introduced to acrobatics and yoga in 2010 while working as an energy engineer in Athens. Guided by the body’s natural movement, he has since explored a wide range of practices and trainings. He is a certified AcroYoga International teacher (Level 1, Level 2, Elemental, Lunar, and Solar Immersion), a Lead Teacher in the official acroyoga.org teacher certification programs, and co-founder of AeriaLife Training and the Vertical Trainings Project. He has trained in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama, and Thai Yoga Massage through the Sunshine Network (OsteoThai, Static, and Dynamic). His teaching blends dynamic acrobatics with therapeutic practices and group connection, creating safe, structured learning environments where even challenging techniques become accessible and fluid. Over the past 15 years, he has developed and led educational programs across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Mexico, and the USA, connecting diverse communities through movement.

Aline

Aline lives by the proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Since discovering AcroYoga in 2015, this spirit has shaped her practice. For her, the magic of Acro lies in connection — trust, creativity, shared challenge, and emotional growth. Rooted in Hatha Yoga in the Sivananda tradition, she has taught yoga for two decades and partner acrobatics since 2017. Her style is inclusive, playful, humorous, and focused on shared experience over performance. In Bern, she helps grow the Acro community and brings warmth, grounding, and joyful curiosity to every session.
